At The Silk Studio, we honour the sacred bond between nature and luxury. Our commitment to sustainability is woven into every design with each piece, wherever possible, being lovingly hand dyed. We strive to use natural dyes sourced from the Earth itself (often in the form of kitchen waste, plants, barks and leaves) in as many of our designs, taking inspiration from the world around us, to create timeless treasures that echo the harmony of the natural world.
100% MULBERRY SILK
Our silk adornments are lovingly crafted with organic, A grade 100% pure mulberry silk. Our slow and conscious craft ensures a unique, high quality piece every time. We sustainably and ethically source our silk and the natural dye matter used to colour it.
LOVINGLY HAND CRAFTED
Wherever possible, we strive to hand dye and use natural dyes sourced from the earth itself. For this reason, we refer to many of our silk adornments having been dyed with 'living colour'. Dyeing by hand means that no two of our pieces are the same, which each one harbouring its very own unique nuances. We embrace the 'imperfectly perfect' nature of our products.
BEAUTIFULLY PRESENTED
We believe first impressions are everything. We pride ourselves on providing a full immersive experience when unpackaging our products. Each of our silk ribbons is beautifully presented, hand rolled around a wooden spool as standard. We package our orders in recyclable black kraft paper and our signature branding materials. There is also the option to upgrade to our oversized painted wooden spools as pictured.
